Bruce Auerbach Installed as 126th President of MMS

Bruce S. Auerbach, M.D., was installed as the president of the Massachusetts Medical Society on May 10. He is vice president and chief of emergency and ambulatory services at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. At his installation ceremony, Dr. Auerbach spoke of the need to address critical physician workforce shortages, especially in primary care. “Without a good primary care base,” he said, “our system doesn’t work.”
